Our Story

In the fall of 2022, someone very close to the Binder family, Dru Anne Lindo, passed away after a long battle with cancer.

A few weeks after she passed away, John Binder ran his first half marathon. While he was running, he kept thinking of Dru. Ever since, whenever he runs, he thinks of her.

In her honor, and for all who have fought or are fighting cancer, we've pulled together a growing roster of runners to help fundraise in support of local St. Louis cancer patients and their families. Each runner will be participating in the Greater St. Louis marathon or half-marathon on April 27th, 2024 on behalf of this cause.

Everyone has been touched by cancer in some capacity, and our aim is to build a community around this race to celebrate the lives and battles of all our heroes who have faced cancer.

We urge everyone who comes across this page to support in any way they are able. Whether its lacing up your shoes to run with us, supporting the cause via donation, or simply sharing our story. Every dollar, mile, and share demonstrates to all cancer fighters and families that we are here to help!

Let's make a difference together, Mile by Mile.

Creating a community of giving, supporting St. Louis cancer fighters.
